Minted in Philadelphia from 1793 to 1857, the large cent went through seven design changes on both the obverse and reverse. The large cent displays lady liberty on the obverse. The large cent varied from 27mm to 29mm in diameter. The large cent was not minted in 1815. Certificate of authenticity is included.

Anthony disappeared from mintage faster than any coin in U.S. history, all because of a single error in design. The new coins were too similar in size to quarters. Over 150 years old, the flying eagle cent was struck for circulation in 1857 and 1858. The one cent piece was minted of a copper-nickel composition and designed by James Barton Longacre. The obverse displays a flying eagle and the reverse shows a wreath of corn, wheat, cotton and tobacco leaves. The flying eagle was too difficult to strike because of the high relief and was replaced in 1859 by the Indian head penny. Certificate of authenticity is included.

These are an awesome set of vintage books for staging or decor in a bookcase. Unlike some of the others, these have bearing colors and are not limited to one pallet. Thomas Jefferson helped build the united states by authoring the declaration of independence and presiding over the country as the second president. Discover Jefferson through mint us postage stamps and a genuine us $2 bill. The 1 cent stamp was issued on January 12, 1968, and shows the face of Jefferson. The 3 cent stamp was issued on June 16, 1938, and shows the profile of Jefferson. The $2 bill was printed from 1928-1966 and features Monticello, Jefferson's pride and joy, on the reverse. Small size silver certificates were issued from 1928 to 1964, in denominations of 1, 5, and 10. Silver Certificates also known as Blue Seals and Blue Seal Notes are still legal tender but since 1968 they have been redeemable only in Federal Reserve Notes and may no longer be exchanged for silver. The 10 dollar silver certificate is housed in a protective 5 x 8 inch vinyl portfolio. The 10 dollar bill features Alexander Hamilton on the front and the US Treasury on the back. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Imagine walking around Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and spotting an Indian Head penny half buried in the ground where the Union soldiers battled during the American Civil War. Perhaps that Indian Head Cent first minted in 1859 at the Philadelphia Mint fell out of the pocket of a Union soldier, possibly a lucky coin. Or maybe it dropped from the hands of a passerby who came to visit the battlefields in 1864 either way, the Indian Head Cent minted from 1859 to 1864 was composed of copper and nickel and commonly referred to as Nickel or Nick. Remember the freedom and unity gained from the battles fought during the Civil War with the Civil War Penny and Stamp Collection. A gold book style portfolio houses an Indian Head Cent minted from 1861 to 1864 and a Commemorative Mint US Postage Stamp of the Battle of Gettysburg.
