This is the perfect coffee table to match my new decor! I searched for months looking for one! It took around 4 hours to put together and you need two people for a couple things to actually finish it. My package arrived damaged, with pieces falling out and a few pieces were messed up, but since they were on the underneath side I decided to keep it since the box is SO heavy! The table feels very solid, it’s larger than most coffee tables I found and it matches my other furniture perfectly! It is a lighter oak so if you’re looking for the “warmer orangey color” this is on the lighter side but matched my end tables and fireplace perfectly! The coffee table is a good height. It’s not too high and most importantly not too low. It has ample space for storage to include two drawers on the sides and space in the center once the top is raised. The high gloss takes the table to another level. The lights are a nice addition but if you want it in the middle of the floor you will need an outlet in the floor or be able to run cords under a rug somehow as there won’t be any power to it without the cords being shown and ran to the nearest outlet.. We recently had new floors installed and are slowly replacing all of our living room furniture. This is the first piece we purchased, and I assembled it by myself. The small screwdriver included with it eventually gave me blisters, so I switched to one we already owned. Attaching the top piece was a little tricky at first, but once I realized it was easier to lie on my back underneath the table to insert the screws, the rest was easy. It’s a solid table and looks great. I work from home so it’s been nice to extend the top of the table and use it as a desk while catching up on TV shows.
