Oil Rubbed Bronze Metal Backsplash

I had been eying a metallic backslash but was concerned that the kitchen would be too dark. I purchased the white vinyl tile to tie in with the white sink and I am so glad that I did. Its beautiful! Although I used liquid nails, I purchased the kit with edging so that if the tile sags down the road, the edging will keep it in place. While the description said easy to hang, I assumed (my fault I guess) that it would come with hangers of some sort. I was surprised to find the back had double-sided tape for hanging (like you can buy at any hardware store). The tape actually shows through the glass. I cannot use the tape to hang as we have log walls in our kitchen and I was looking for something what would work for that application - not sure how I will go about mounting this on our wall. Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it.
