This chandelier showed up so well packaged, I was blown away. Two cardboard boxes within a large cardboard box, separated by a piece of Styrofoam. The top box had all of the parts shown in the pictures above, and the bottom box held the glass seeded shades for the lights, each tucked into Styrofoam and with Styrofoam inserts. Nothing was scratched or broken. Made of a lightweight aluminum material and coated in a bronze finish, it should be an easy installation as the fixture will not be heavy. Months ago, I purchased a Kichler chandelier, and it was so cheaply made, with plastic parts, that one of the eyes broke and we were unable to finish the installation. She bashed 3 out of 7 packages around on my porch, luckily only one thing got damaged. That I've found so far. Not Wayfair's fault. They handled a replacement very quickly with no hassle. This light fixture works perfectly in our bathroom. We wanted to replace the original builder-grade light that came with the house, but I had trouble finding something that met our needs. Our previous fixture was ceiling-mounted, while most bathroom lights are designed to be installed on the wall above or beside a mirror. I actually found this light while browsing kitchen fixtures, and my husband suggested it might work well in the bathroom—and he was right. It looks great installed. I especially love that the wiring is fully enclosed in metal tubes. Our old fixture had exposed wiring threaded through chains, which was difficult to keep clean. This fixture also provides three lights, and because the bottom of each sconce is open and the bulbs point downward, it gives off excellent, bright light—perfect for waking up in the morning. Installation notes • Some parts are secured with set screws the correct size Allen wrench is included, which is a nice touch. • The instructions need a small correction two pairs of wires exit the assembled fixture for connection to household wiring, but the instructions only show and describe one pair. • Overall, assembly and installation were straightforward and manageable. These directions to install the light were sort of vague. It still wasn’t that hard to figure out and follow what was there. It took me about an hour to take down and replace with the new one! We like how you can change the bulb orientation, it was a little hard to turn but it went though and we chose to orient the bulbs vertically instead of leaving them horizontally. We love it!
