Wish it was slightly larger to hold an oversized monitor, but it looks good and despite the deep woodgrain in the desktop (not the preference), the black color mitigates that some. It took 30 min to assemble, including having to remove one leg and turn it over (be sure holes for levelers are facing down to the ground in Step1.) This desk looks more substantial than it is, but that is a good thing. Other than the desk top, it's all hollow, painted aluminum so definitely not a "forever" piece, but definitely recommend it.. The table came well-packaged. Unfortunately, I had several issues upon opening it and during assembly. The middle panel had a chip in the veneer, and the plastic cord holder had a broken corner both while still in the box. Several of the screws were very difficult to put in due to excess material in the threads or because the hex screw tool didn’t fit in the screw head. One of the holes for attaching the frame to the top didn’t match up, either. When building the top, the cam locks damaged the surrounding particleboard when trying to tighten them. Great desk. I needed something big and this works great. Exceptionally sturdy construction — like literally over 150 individual bolts — so it’s not even slightly wobbly or uneven AND scooching it around to adjust the placement is never a problem, even fully loaded, which is a honestly huge for cleaning. As others have noted the seam is very noticeable if you don’t have stuff on it. Not a problem for me since it’s largely covered, so if you plan throw a mousepad or monitor stand or something in the middle, I don’t see it being a problem. On close inspection, you can tell it’s not the most expensive desk in the world, but for actually using it day to day, I have no complaints. Assembly really sucks. I highly, highly recommend a drill (I think it’s actually over 200 bolts) and reading the instructions at least 10 times per page, because for some reason they decided to cut printing costs and condense the instructions as much as possible. Disassembly is also going to suck, so if you have an upcoming move consider how big it is and how much fun it is removing the bolts I’ve mentioned. just received and assembled the desk. There's two things I didn't like. 1) Only the bottom drawer uses rollers. The top two slide on a bar. None of them have stops to prevent them from being pulled all the way out by accident. 2) The top comes in two separate pieces, and the grains don't match.
