This extendable dining table serves as a functional center point for your dining room or eat-in kitchen. It also features a two-leaf design that seats up to eight people when fully extended.

Very happy with the table. We wanted an extendable table that held the "leaves" within the table and was round when extended. The "racetrack" shape when the "butterfly wing/leaves" are retracted is cooler than a typical rectangle or oval. I also wanted a near white (but with some contrasting details) stone-like top which is very hard to find in an extendable table. The base appears to be slightly lighter brown in color in person than online, but I prefer that. Ignore the chairs in the pictures; we haven't picked out chairs for the new table yet. The extension mechanism (see photo) works very smoothly, and you can do with one hand and little strength. You can have neither extended, only 1 extended, or both extended which works well for our needs (kid comes home from college, etc). There's a tiny bit of uneven-ness in the height at one end of the leaves when extended, but probably only 2 mm (and maybe fixable if we tried.) Delivery was on time with excellent communication via texts and call and with updates for a narrower delivery window provided. They brought it in and assembled it for us. Happy with the purchase. Other places on-line had similar tables but not the exact same one. In particular, the stone top having the grey details seemed harder to find. The base of this table seems very sturdy yet is not wide enough to get in the way of anyone's legs and we have tall teenage boys. I got this table to use as a game table in our living room. It is super sturdy and heavy-duty. It's a good shape and size, and the unique legs are pretty cool. It comes with a leaf that is easy to add and remove. Overall, I really like it. Great Design & Functional Storage. I am actually pretty impressed with this table and here’s why - I really like the oval shape - my dining room is weirdly shaped due to a specific design of the house (it’s not square, it’s not round, it has multiple corners…) so it was a real challenge to find a shape that would fit. The oval shaped table is perfect. I also like the deep, rich espresso/dark walnut wood finish - it instantly became a focal point of the dining room and fits seamlessly with the decor and the rug. The design is very nice too, especially because of the textured, fluted details on the pedestal base - they add this mid-century modern flair which we like. Also, additional storageis super important for us - that’s why the built-in cabinet base with shelves is a massive bonus - arched, fluted glass doors provide excellent storage for dinnerware (or decor) without looking cluttered. The size, however, is a point for debate with my wife - she thinks it will comfortably sit only 4 people because the storage takes space, but I disagree - I think there’s plenty of space for 6 people (someone sitting in front of the glass doors may just need to be more careful not to hit them with their knees or feet…) Overall, I think the table is a perfect blend of style and functionality and is certainly a great addition to our dining room. The assembly was pretty straight forward until I go the the fluted accents. The two around the storage unit were OK to deal with. The one going around the single pedestal base, thouth, was tricky. It's not quite long enough to go around and meet for a seamless connection. There is a gap between the two ends and something to consider when you are putting it together. This table is HEAVYYYYY!!!!! Solid wood and very sturdy. I have moved into my first home and have put together a ton of pieces of furniture and this one would’ve been worth it to pay someone to do. It was kind of tricky getting the shelf to line up with the notches in the legs. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because the wood split on both sides of the shelf by the leg and because of the water spots on one area of the table top. This dining table was far from cheap, but it was worth every penny. The bottom is so, so pretty and unique and the top is just gorgeous. We bought the largest one (59") and, comfortably, it can fit six chairs easily, but we decided on using only 4 so the bottom, which is the star, would still be visible. The Service Pro gentleman who came to install it did it in about 20-30 minutes, tops, and was very professional.
