I needed to camouflage my large concrete septic tank lid which sits below a portion of deck. It puts out tremendous light. I bought the 71” version but it swayed waaay too much. I removed two poke sections and inserted pvc pipe inside it to hold it steady. Would have given it five stars if the poke didn’t sway.. Debra. Roseburg, OR. Thu Sep 10 2026

These solar lights are pretty cool! Not able to install outside yet so I tried them on the bathroom floor. I have to say that on the floor it is a much smaller imprint than on a wall. So they definitely will have a much greater impact installing them on the side of a fence/wall than using on steps. Easy to install with one screw and easy on/off switch on bottom side of the solar top. Really will add a nice special effect to your fence or any outdoor building that gets plenty of sun.. Robert.
