Love these, only one bowl was broken when arrived.. Anonymous. Thu May 28 2026

The collection is defined by its use of elegant contrast. Subdued lines encircle one another while bold reflective metallic elements frame each piece while simultaneously framing your most beautiful dishes.

I love modern art and this design fits my personality and decor perfectly! The bone china is exquisite and as a home chef, I wanted a solid white, yet elegant backdrop for the food I serve my guests. I don’t like doing dishes, so my new pattern had to be dishwasher safe, as well as be able to be used in the microwave. The product description says that “Orbit” was safe for both. However, when I put a bowl in the microwave to warm some leftovers, the metal around the rim started sparking and almost caught fire. When I immediately took it out, it was so hot that I burned the inside of my thumb! I would have easily given this set 5 stars, had this not happened. Wayfair and one other retailer are the only ones who list this set as “dishwasher and microwave safe.” The manufacturer and all others state that because of the metal trim, it is only “dishwasher and warm oven” safe. I still LOVE this set even though we’ve had to make adjustments when warning food. I just hope that Wayfair changes this pattern’s product description, so that others don’t have the same unfortunate experience that I did. dishwasher sStillStil. Angela. Inglewood, CA. This dinnerware plate set is super cute. Some of them did have little black dots at the bottom that were embedded into the bowl, but none were overly distracting. They were packed very well so none arrived broken. They're very sturdy yet not too heavy, and have held up in the dishwasher and the microwave. I'm happy with this purchase.. Nickesha. The parchment dinnerware collection features a gentle gray border embellished with a beautifully detailed scroll design. This chic and elegant collection is accented by the inner and outer borders of platinum. Crafted of porcelain. Dishwasher safe but not microwave safe. When washing gold or platinum-banded dinnerware in the dishwasher, use a gentle cycle and turn off the dishwasher before the drying cycle, or allow the dinnerware to cool before handling it. The high temperature of the heated drying cycle can cause the precious metal bands to soften. This 40-piece set includes 8 each: 10-3/4 inch dinner plate, 8-1/2 inch salad plate, 8-1/2 inch soup bowl (12 ounces), 9-ounce tea cup, and 6-1/2 inch tea saucer.

★★★★★ Excellent Quality and Beautiful Design I am extremely happy with the Avea 16-Piece Porcelain Dinnerware Set. The porcelain feels durable and well-made without being overly heavy, and the subtle detailing gives the set a much more expensive look than its price point. Ive used the plates, bowls, and mugs regularly, and they have held up very well through multiple dishwasher cycles. The finish remains beautiful, and the dishes feel sturdy and chip-resistant. One of my favorite things about this set is how it instantly elevates the presentation of any meal. Whether serving a casual dinner or hosting guests, it creates a clean, sophisticated table setting.
