Obeetee Hand Tufted Rug

Light and airy tones of powder blue and ivory offer a graceful aspect to intricate Art Deco motifs. Beautifully framed in a narrow, floral border for a hint of modern styling. Hand-tufted using pure mountain wool in a micro-loop weave for a thick cushioned feel underfoot.

We bought the smaller version of this rug as a test, because we wanted to put the smaller of the two rugs on one/far side of the guest suite bedroom bed and liking it very much, we also bought the larger of the two rugs for the other/near side of the guest suite bedroom bed. They are a great pair of rugs!. Lee. Washington, Dc. Sat Oct 03 2026

Beautiful rug, high quality. I would recommend. Tami. New Braunfels, TX. Thu Oct 22 2026

Well made and looks nice. Very thick. I wish the bone had been available, but this works!. Kelly. Wed Oct 14 2026

This hand-tufted area rug brings a subtle and elegant foundation to your space and ties your room together with a classic look. Made from 100% wool, it features a tight loop pile that creates a textured appearance. The beige color and cotton backing make this rug versatile, fitting seamlessly into various decor styles from traditional to coastal. Plus, it has a 0.65" pile height that works well in rooms with low foot traffic like your home office or family den. Ideal for indoor use, this rug requires simple care: Vacuum without a beater bar or rotating brush, spot clean, or have it cleaned by a professional to maintain its appearance.

I've had this rug for over a year with no issues. It has texture without having big knots or loops. I like jute and sisal but not the smell or the shedding, so wool it is. I am super picky about my rugs. This rug arrived undamaged, with barely a scent and laid flat right away. It does not shed. I love that the edges are finished well, not serged which could fuzz or unravel. Easy to vacuum. It's very thick and soft underfoot, no rug pad. I have the 8x10 under a king bed in my guest room. I ordered the blue color (forgot what it was called at the time. Denim?) which is now called color 8? I absolutely HATE that Wayfair will no longer commit to naming its colors, heaven forbid the customers insist the rug that arrived doesn't match the color name or a photo we can barely see. Impossible to have faith in this company when it comes to rugs now. I was thinking of ordering the same rug in 9x12 for my family room but now I don't trust the color "8". Mine arrived more dominant in ivory with very narrow lines of blue, which was even better for me. It really lightened the room. But if you are looking for dominant blue from afar, this is not it. I will not be surprised if Wayfair starts eliminating reviews now. I rely heavily on reviews so I hope this helped you.. Kat. SE. Wed Jun 03 2026

Excellent wool rug for the price. Goes with anything.. Sara. Fond Du Lac, WI. Mon Sep 07 2026

The rug is truly as pictured. The color, thickness and quality were as expected. It might have a bit more light blue than I thought but since it’s in a darker hall I thought it would brighten the area. I also bought the plush 13 rug pad - Wayfair basics. Together they feel great but they are thicker than some may want. It rolled out fine. The edges still need to lay down a bit further so we make a point to walk on them as we pass through. Very happy with purchase.. Beth. Cincinnati, OH. Mon Oct 19 2026

This Oriental area rug pairs a classic aesthetic with a plush surface for a cozy feel in your space. It’s handmade from a blend of wool and cotton, providing a soft texture underfoot. Given that it is water- and stain-resistant, it is a good choice for high-traffic areas in your home.

Defines and finishes my dining area. Not a formal room but part of our everyday living area. Rug is full, thick and very heavy. Doesn’t seem to be shedding. The colors are beautiful. Highly recommend. .. Melinda. Magnolia. Fri Oct 16 2026

Gorgeous rug!! Super plush and comfy under the feet. Feels like a dream. Just bought it so can’t say too much to the shedding but it is wool so fo be expected. Great quality!. Brittany. Wed Sep 09 2026

Excellent rug, quite soft, and very cushy. Great as a runner! The pattern is modern and muted, and not purposefully "antique" which lends to my pro tip: even if you buy cheap stuff, buy things made of natural materials, not intentionally styled as aged, and buy what you love. Your home will look effortlessly curated and classy. As for the negative reviews... the rug wasn't yellow as some other folks reported, but boy is she a shedder at first. But that's just what you should expect with a brand new wool rug. Do a few extracurricular rounds of excessive vacuuming, and you'll get drastically less daily shedding. Unfortunately the only real con I've run into is that it's taken a long time to fully smooth out, even being weighted down on raised areas. I'd definitely suggest this rug for people with cats with penchants for stretching their little greasy mitts on anything that feels remotely textured - I really wanted a wool rug but without loops, or as close to no loops as possible. Shockingly hard to find! I think the search term is "cut pile" rug, which this one gets pretty close to. Any darker portion of the pattern is looped, while all lighter parts of this pattern are cut. So far so good with kitty claws. Overall, highly recommend. This rug will definitely last.. Mj. Chicago. Thu Sep 03 2026

I was looking for a neutral tone long runner for my hallway, and was happy to find this 20 foot rug. It feels nice and cushioned on my feet, and my dog has decided it’s his new favorite spot. I did add a non-slip pad underneath. As other reviews have mentioned, it does shed a lot but hopefully that will slowly stop. Although the color description is ivory and light blue, I feel like it leans more towards light green.. Kendra. Alexandria, . Fri Oct 16 2026
