UPDATE the center leg kept bending sideways and the couch would fall down! Today the leg completely broke off. It’s just me in the home with the dog and we are gentle. Very disappointed!! Need new couch. Delivery day I wanted to love this couch, and there are things I really do like about it—but unfortunately, the negatives were hard to overlook. First off, the screws around the frame were difficult to get in because the foam was too thick and the screws wouldn’t catch the threads properly. It took much longer than it should have, and I had to redo sections multiple times. To make matters worse, the included Allen key stripped after just a couple of screws and didn’t fit the bolts properly. If you’re putting it together, definitely use your own tools. One of the most frustrating parts was the seat slats. You can’t get them in unless you loosen up the frame again after you’ve already secured it—which feels like going backwards and risks everything slipping out of place. Now that it’s assembled, I’ve been trying to enjoy it. The beige color is absolutely gorgeous—a warm, slightly speckled tone that fits beautifully with my decor. That’s definitely a highlight. Another major plus the entire couch is washable, which is rare and incredibly practical. That feature is probably the biggest trade-off for the comfort issues. Speaking of comfort—the seat cushions are very firm and slope down toward the center, so if you’re not sitting dead center, it can feel awkward. I’m hoping they loosen up over time, but for now, they’re not great for lounging. The back cushions are soft but under-filled, and the back itself is quite low—not nearly as supportive as it looks in the pictures. I’m planning to add throw pillows (maybe even a fluffy seat topper) to make it more livable. Overall, it’s a beautiful-looking couch with some thoughtful features like the washable covers, but the comfort and assembly left a lot to be desired. I purchased this sofa, November 9, 2025. It is the same as it was when I first purchased it. It took my grandson an hour from unboxing to assembling it. It was so easy for him lol Make sure you prepare the slip covers before you take the plastic off the pillows, because they deflate very rapidly. That is a mistake I made, I was so anxious to see what it would look like put together. It is a beautiful couch and it has held up from the tiny hands and feet of my great grandkids. If you want a beautiful, strong sofa, you can’t go wrong by purchasing this one. The only regret I have is that I purchased the cream and not the white. The sofa itself is really nice. It's a perfect light beige color. Fabric is nice. It's really stiff, which I personally prefer.. I assume it will break in too though. The main thing I wanted to come here and say is that "white glove" or "full service" delivery is such a waste of money. It was free this time, so I went with it, but I said to my wife, it'll probably come damaged.. because what they do is assemble it at a local warehouse and load it wrapped in a blanket on the truck like movers would. Sure enough, it came damaged, smashed in on one side. Also the "movers" had the white cushions stacked in the middle of the street barely teetering on a blanket... any decent breeze or car driving by and they'd have been filthy. Wayfair is sending a new one so that's fine, but for the hassle, I'd rather have it delivered in the box.. this one is literally the main base, 4 cushions and then 4 feet.. anyone could assemble it. Update: Wayfair sent a new one, this time had dirty stains all along the front of the cushion like it was dropped on the warehouse floor.
