I recently got this kitchen island, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a great addition to my space. Putting it together definitely takes two people—it’s pretty heavy—but once it’s assembled, you can tell it’s built to last. Everything lined up nicely, and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The butcher block–style top is my favorite part. It gives the island a nice, classic look and feels super solid when I’m chopping or prepping food. It’s got that real wood feel that makes the whole piece look more high-end than it actually costs. Even though it’s sturdy, the wheels make it easy to move around when I need to clean or shift things around. Once it’s in place, the locks on the wheels hold it steady so it doesn’t budge. Overall, it’s a really nice mix of function and style. It adds a good amount of counter and storage space, looks great in the kitchen, and feels like it’ll last for years. Totally worth it if you want something solid and practical without feeling too formal or fussy.. Amy. Cedar Springs, MI. Sun Oct 26 2025

The overall design is nice, WAS nice while it lasted (not even 24 hours). My husband was sitting on the side with the leaf and lead on it while eating. The entire folding counter piece broke off and the screws which were not even half an inch in length ripped completely out. I am so annoyed with Wayfair overall with the entire purchase process..
