I recently moved into an unfurnished apartment with a tiny kitchen and very limited counter space. I knew I needed some kind of extension to the counter so I thought about this cutting board/cart thing I had in one of my previous homes that belonged to a former housemate. I tried to find one in other places but Wayfair had exactly what I was looking for. I am so pleased with this cart because it is exactly what I had in mind. The whole top works as a cutting board and the knife holder is a nice addition that my friends' cart did not have. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble, although I could not find any instructions in the package. Space-Saving Foldable Stainless Steel Surface - The kitchen island is equipped with a durable, rust-resistant stainless steel top that provides a smooth, easy-to-maintain work surface. Its foldable design makes it a space-efficient solution, allowing you to extend it when more workspace is needed for cooking or serving, and fold it down to save room in compact outdoor settings.

It’s nice looking and will serve its purpose. The wood is not the greatest quality, and although luckily, the parts were numbered, the instructions were not very clear when it came to installing the doors and also the fold down table extension. Regarding the doors, it’s easier to remove the hinges from the doors and install them on the cabinet first and then install the doors and attach the hinges to the doors. Regarding the fold down extension, it took us a while to figure out that because the instructions don’t show that the brackets should be offset, we finally had to attach the brackets to the cabinet first and then attach the extension.
