Takes a little extra effort because it has a 2nd layer shelf in it but still only took about 25 mins. The wood grain design on top is great as it won't show signs of scratches or wear. LOVE this table. I also purchased a square one and a half moon console table. All said, they're quality, REAL WOOD pieces and beautiful. I purchased the walnut color - the box read "Espresso" which matches the console table. The square side table is slightly lighter and is "Walnut" on the box.
