I needed a small but spacious desk- if that is such a thing- for crafting- and well this desk makes it possible. It fits perfect in the area I needed it. Rounded edges so no bumping corners when moving my chair when sewing or entering the door. My brother put it together for me and his well versed as I ask him to sort all my ideas- it took him about an hour start to finish. Very well packaged and the instructions were easy to follow. The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale.
