Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. I can only review the ordering and delivering of the wardrobe as the last parcel was delivered today. I will have someone install it. All aspects of ordering and delivery was exactly as described except when it was clearing customs. I received an emailed that it was being delivered that day. Fortunately the lady I spoke to in customer service cleared it up, checking it out for me and said it had just cleared customs, US to Canada and the items would be delivered as described when the order was placed.. I absolutely love this product. The quality is better than I expected for the price! My husband put it together and gave me the following feedback: 1. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. 2. The materials were of good quality and all pieces were present. 3. A power drill isn't required but there are so many screws that it saves your hand from blisters if you use a power drill as your screwdriver. All of the holes are predrilled though. 4. Since the boxes were incredibly heavy and our bedroom is on the smaller side, we opted to take all materials out of the box in the living room to organize first. Then we put a few of the smaller pieces together before carrying them upstairs for assembly in the bedroom. 5. 90% of the assembly is a one person job but it was helpful to have another person present to assist with hanging the doors. 6. One of the knobs on the door came apart from its adhesive but was quickly remedied by using a hot glue gun. I like the product so much that I am thinking of purchasing another one.. Michele. The product fit the space perfectly, is well-constructed, and looks much more expensive than it was. One caveat is that it does take some time and patience to put the piece together. My husband is in the construction business and does a lot of woodworking projects as a hobby. Even so, it took the two of us almost three hours to assemble. This wardrobe is very nice looking, with tons of storage space. Perfect for my 1940’s house with tiny closets! I assembled the whole thing by myself and it took about 8 hours total. It coms in 4 sections, so it’s very easy to spread the assembly out over a couple of days. The sections without drawers took about 1.5 hr each, and the sections without drawers were 2.5 hrs each. Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need.
