I was looking for a solid wood armoire and it is. It took almost a full day to assemble, but it came together nicely. There was a spot in the instructions that was very confusing and held me up a bit. It coms in 4 sections, so it’s very easy to spread the assembly out over a couple of days. The sections without drawers took about 1.5 hr each, and the sections without drawers were 2.5 hrs each. Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need. This is a perfect wardrobe for a small apartment, and the back of the two doors is 4 shelves and a hanging rod, to meet your jacket, coat, pants storage. The bottom drawer is for storing socks and scarves. Compact body doesn't take up too much space at all, but has strong enough storage capacity to meet your storage needs.

We received this around the 16th but decided (after seeing the 26 page book) to come back and pay a pro. Best decision ever! He was finished in 1 & 1/2 hours! (It had one deep scratch on the top but unless you're on a step stool or very tall, you won't notice), otherwise it's beautiful and the white matches our new bed perfectly! I did add a motion sensor light to each side and will probably add a few more under the shelves. (The strong smell others have mentioned was there ... until we turned our air purifier on (directly in front of the wardrobe) for several hours.) Love it! It’s nice! More for a kids room short like others mentioned. The photo with the side table is misleading as I thought both pieces were together. I had to order a side table hoping the color matches.
