Great quality. We purchase the natural oak version and it was easy to install—even though I decided to drill new holes in the mounting bracket to find/fasten to more studs, and have it centered over TV. Looks great!. Matthew. Gridley, CA. Sun Dec 03 2023

Fantastic mantel. I shopped several custom mantel stores and was prepared to pay over 3k for a mantel when I came across this one. The wood grain and mild distressing is perfect for our space. Overall, this is a nice shelf. I am using it as a console ledge near the front entry. The tone is a bit warmer than I would like and than what the pictures show. The way the instructions have you hang it leaves screw hole plugs on the top which ruins the look so instead, I hung the ledger board and then attached the shelf with construction adhesive and finish nails.. These quality wood shelves are ideal for turning unused wall space into a functional and decorative area. The use of red oak wood provides strength and durability to the shelf, while the black paint and polyurethane coating give it a modern, polished look that can complement a variety of interior design styles. The shelf appears to "float" on the wall without any visible brackets or supports, thanks to a hidden mounting system.

They’re good looking shelves. They come with multiple methods to mount the shelves whether you’re mounting your studs or to drywall, there’s wall anchors and lag bolts both to get the job done. I docked one star because they’re not made with the highest craftsmanship. The cleat is tacked together haphazardly. The cleat and the facade both are a tiny bit lopsided making it just a bit more difficult to level a shelf and align adjacent shelves. However once installation is complete, and frankly once you’ve lucked out on getting them straight and orderly, they do look quite good and they feel sturdy. They might not be perfect, but once they’re put up, they definitely do the trick.. Tony. Orlando, FL. Mon Jan 27 2025
