Love the bench. Had to do a little staining on it, but other than that love it! Seller did give me a discount due to the areas that needed to be satined and were missed before shipping. The high back and gently flared arms nod to classic Mission design, while the lift-top seat conceals a roomy compartment for shoes, scarves, or seasonal layers. Wherever it's placed, this piece keeps clutter out of sight while lending the room a polished, welcoming feel.

The Glenn 50 inch storage bench exceeded my expectations in both quality and pricing. I needed the storage for our winter hats, scarves and gloves to have at the ready when venturing out in our northern Michigan winters. I have always called these “deacon benches.” The sizing is generous holding so many items. This would literally work for a family of 6. This is true to size fitting into our foyer exactly as advertised at the 50 inches in width. (See photo). The wood is solid and without blemishes. The finish is a shiny dark brown color. This is solid and strong and does not wobble. The bottom of the storage area is a thinner wood and is rated to hold no more than 30 pounds. My husband assembled this in just under an hour. The small included Allen wrench did not fit the screws so my husband used his own Allen wrench. My only critique is that the included wrench did not fit. This bench is a quality item appearing rich and elegant in my home and I am sure to receive compliments.. Debbie. Gaylord, MI. Fri Oct 23 2026

This beautifully crafted wooden storage bench combines classic design with practical functionality. Featuring a sturdy construction with clean lines and traditional paneled details, this versatile piece showcases natural wood grain that adds warmth to any space. The bench includes a hinged lift-top seat that reveals generous storage space beneath, and the slatted backrest design creates an open, airy feel while maintaining structural integrity. Perfect for entryways, bedrooms, or living areas, this timeless storage solution seamlessly blends seating comfort with essential organization needs.

This is a fine piece. Hardy, pretty it’s storage space is useful. The only thing I don’t really like is the height. It’s arms and backboard could be a few inches higher because it’s much shorter than expected, making it a bit awkward to sit comfortably. That’s why I gave it 4 vs 5 stars.. Jesus. US. Tue Aug 25 2026

The reimagines modern farmhouse style with a soft, clean-lined silhouette and a lightly cerused natural oak finish. Gently wire brushed wood surfaces and leather wrapped pulls evoke classic farmhouse style while shiplap paneling and a light tone finish add a coastal feel. Brass accents and eased edges provide a soft feminine touch that pairs well with natural fibers, warm metals and a wide range of accent colors.

This bench is all sorts of fabulous. Made from beautiful, sturdy, all natural wood, all I had to do was attach the legs and it was ready to sit on. The wood is a beautiful, light color at least on the chai color I have. It fits perfectly in any room and is exactly what I was looking for in a bench.. Kimberley. CO. Sun Jan 18 2026
