Very pleased with these chairs! They are well made and sturdy. We needed to replace our old wicker dining chairs which had seen better days. We decided to try wooden chairs so the search began for a style that would match our table and other decor. I was concerned whether the backs would be comfortable for long periods of sitting. We ordered one set to try out. The chairs arrived well packed. All parts, tools and easy to follow instructions were included. Assembly was easy, taking less than 30 minutes per chair. We ordered 8 of these in light green, and I LOVE the color. It’s very pretty!! We have the chairs in our dining room, and they get used fairly often, and are holding up well after three years. Ordered two of these individual chairs to complete the set of 4 I got with my extendable table. We didn’t put together the first four (assembly was complimentary with that order) so this was my first time putting them together. Pretty easy and didn’t have much trouble. Love these chairs. They seat is very wide and comfortable. The cross cross back is just the look I was going for. Note that with the matching table, you can’t fit all six chairs under the table. Since our toddler usually sits at the end and likes to get in and out of his seat often during a meal, his chair is usually always pushed out anyway, so this doesn’t bother me, but worth noting. The seat cushions are ones I found at a yard sale so not the right size but good enough for now. The chairs are sturdy and this set overall is the perfect blend of casualfarmhouse without being *too* rustic. I was surprised by these chairs. The way furniture is made these days always has me worried to purchase things, especially chairs which are made to hold weight..
