This console table is just the right size to use as a TV stand in my smaller living space. The finish is distressed and rustic, so be prepared for that. Cannot attest to ease of assembly because I opted to use the professional service for this one. This item would definitely have been improved by the addition of leveling devices, since I'm certain many folks will use it with a television as I did. This is real wood. It has a light stain and no varnish, so it has that rustic farmhouse feel to it. The drawers don’t have tracks so they wobble when you pull them in and out, but I don’t plan to use them much. Perfect size for behind my couch. The assembly was a bit tricky. They provide self-tapping screws so there are no pilot holes. That means you have to line the pieces up perfectly while screwing in teh screw. Sometimes there is also a dowel in a predrilled hole making it easy to keep the wood in place while you get the screw in. Other times - esp the drawers - you have to hold the two pieces of wood carefully while you press hard to get the screw started. Also, some sections of the wood are softer and easy to get a screw through. Others are a bit harder. Other than assembly, I have no complaints. It’s a sturdy little table for the price.. Rachel. I was hesitant to purchase because some of the reviews weren’t great. Decided to take the chance since it was such a beautiful entryway table and the price was affordable! So glad that I did because it turned out perfect and looks just like the photos. I didn’t have any issues with the drawers being crooked. Set up was fairly easy. It feels very sturdy even tho it’s not solid wood. I also thought it would be too short, but I’m 5’3”and it’s the perfect height. Highly recommend! The Eileen 62.2'' Modern Console Table arrived as promised and was easy to assemble. It took me about an hour to put together by myself, which I was really happy with. I was a little disappointed by a few minor “wood” imperfections, but thankfully they are not noticeable unless you are closely looking for them. That is the main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I love the table and the color. It looks beautiful in my entryway, and now I just need to add some décor to make it look even better..
