This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. This table feels sturdy and solid. My purchase came with free in home installation which I was very happy to have. Cushions on the chairs are firm and comfortable. Color matched well with my floor. After over a year of using, it’s still holding strong. Two minor notes, the leaf for expansion is a little difficult to get use to using. Willing to admit it may be user error. This dining set met my expectations and seems to be made overall. The white glove delivery experience was very efficient and positive. My only negative concerns two of the six chairs in my set. These chairs are shipped pre-assembled and two have a significant wobble. One of the two has a factory defect where one of the leg screws was stripped and will not tighten.
