Sleek steel and sustainable bamboo come together in this platform bed to bring you the best of contemporary craftsmanship. A solid bamboo headboard highlights the wood’s natural grain, perfectly paired with a black metal frame for a modern, balanced look. Designed for both style and durability, bamboo offers an easy-to-maintain surface, while the sturdy steel base provides reliable support. Wide, closely spaced wooden slats create a stable foundation for any mattress without the need for a box spring, and non-slip tape helps reduce movement and noise. Thoughtfully packed with all the tools and instructions for quick assembly, this bed is built for effortless setup and lasting appeal.

This bed was phenomenally easy to assemble, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I really liked how this bed came with a ratcheted Allen key wrench and a regular Allen key, and I really appreciated that the hardware came in already organized for you in a cardboard blister, so you didn't have to dig around for it in a bag. Instructions were really straightforward and easy to follow, and they also linked a YouTube tutorial to make things easier in case if the graphics were not clear enough. The only major downside is that the under-bed clearance is less than 5", which can limit your storage space, but if you prefer your bed low to the ground, then this bed frame is perfect! If I had to nitpick, then I'd say that the wood parts of the bed have this very strong "new cabinet" smell, but I'm sure that will resolve itself over time. In conclusion, this bed has pretty great value to it because the build experience was very pleasant, the bed looks beautiful, and it's very budget friendly! Would definitely recommend, especially if you get it on sale :). Tim. CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

Metal bed frames are a popular choice for many reasons. One of the biggest advantages is their ease of assembly. Unlike wooden frames, metal bed frames can be put together quickly and easily, often without the need for any special tools. Another great feature of metal bed frames is the space they provide underneath for storage. This is especially useful in smaller bedrooms where every inch of space counts. Additionally, metal bed frames don't require a spring box, which can save you money and make your bed more comfortable. Finally, metal bed frames are often squeaking-free, which means you can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep without any annoying noises.

I’m very happy with this purchase! The item arrived well-packaged, was easy to assemble, and looks exactly as pictured. The quality exceeded my expectations for the price, and it fits perfectly in my space. I would definitely recommend this product and would purchase from Wayfair again.. Krista. US. Fri Jul 03 2026

It’s a good bed. However, I did have some issues with the alignment of the headboard. I had to drill and switch around accordingly so that it could all fit together, seems like a slight manufacturer issue. It is sturdy though.. Nargis. US. Tue Sep 22 2026

The Marenzo is built on a single decision: that genuine craftsmanship deserves genuine materials, chosen for their character rather than their cost. Its defining gesture is a headboard woven entirely by hand, each column of natural paper cord gathered and knotted with unhurried precision. Beneath it, every slat is seated to eliminate creak and movement, so the bed holds its stillness as reliably as its form. It is offered in two woods, each with its own voice. The Light Oak is dressed in veneer drawn from American oak imported from the United States, finished with solid oak legs turned to a refined taper. The Dark Walnut is dressed in genuine American Black Walnut veneer imported from North America, with solid Black Walnut legs turned to match, so that from veneer to leg the material speaks in one uninterrupted voice. Because both woods are real, no two frames ever share the same markings. Whichever you choose, the Marenzo arrives as something quietly, irreducibly its own.

This is a nice sturdy bed. Keep in mind that the walnut is more of a cherrywood, and the cording on the headboard is much darker than it looks on the website.. Chinel. Houston, TX. Tue Sep 29 2026

Add mid-century character with this upholstered platform bed. The padded headboard is wrapped in breathable linen and outlined by a warm walnut-finished wood frame, a refined focal point that pairs comfort with retro-glam style. A dense wood slat system with steel-reinforced center support holds your mattress without a box spring, while gold-capped tapered legs add mid-century luxury. The sturdy build keeps motion and noise to a minimum for restful sleep. Assembly is straightforward for two people with the included manual and full hardware kit. Choose from brown, or beige linen to suit your space.

I received my Platform Bed Frame pretty quickly and unpacked it shortly after delivery. It was very easy to assemble. I did have 1 glitch on one of the wood pieces there is a little gouge. I would have liked to return it however it was already assembled. So decided to keep it. Hopefully I’ll get a small incentive. Joyce. Sun Sep 13 2026

Elevate your bedroom with this stylish bed that blends timeless design with modern comfort. The solid wood frame, finished in a warm wood tone, is built to last and showcases clean, rounded legs for a contemporary touch. With a durable slatted base for mattress support, this bed combines beauty, comfort, and everyday functionality.

Love the bed design. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars due to one bed slat had a crack which was filled with a caulk substance. I was assured by Wayfair it has no impact on the sturdiness of the platform bed. I purchased a 12” deep mattress which is the perfect depth for this bed. My 18 yr old grandson loves his bedroom designed just for him. Would choose this bed again to purchase. Very happy with it.. Lynn. Erlanger, KY. Mon Sep 28 2026

It LOOKS nice. I like how it looks like real wood with texture. But it does feel inexpensive. I wouldn’t necessarily say flimsy but it’s definitely not a solid wood. It was a VERY easy piece to put together.. Hannah. Sat Aug 29 2026

The box was damaged and torn up but thankfully the bed was in good shape and packaged well with no damage. We love the bed and it feels solid. It wasnt difficult to put together, all parts and hardware were included and instructions were clear. I also love the distance between the bed and floor. It helps with vacuuming and swiffering the hard wood floor. The only negative is in the photo I shared, the joint where the headboard connects to the left support and the leg does not fit tightly and leaves a noticeable gap. Not a huge issue since it doesnt affect the overall structure or strength of the bed and well learn to live with it. Good buy for the money.. Elizabeth. Bristow, VA. Thu Sep 24 2026

The Ruby bed frame brings a single, well-chosen detail to the centre of the bedroom: a headboard handwoven in natural rattan, its organic texture and warmth setting the tone for the room around it. Each rattan panel carries its own subtle variation in tone and weave, the kind of character that only natural material handled by hand can offer. Beneath it, the frame is built from solid wood for steady, dependable support, with an integrated slat base that holds the mattress directly and removes the need for a box spring. The silhouette stays low, clean and modern, and the silent slat system keeps the whole frame quiet through the night. Assembly is straightforward, ready in about 30 to 45 minutes with no power tools and every component pre-labeled. The Ruby asks for very little and gives a warm, restful foundation in return.

For the price, the quality is REALLY good. I absolutely LOVE the look of this bed. The headboard is so beautiful. It was pretty straightforward and easy to assemble and I appreciated all the extra parts provided. I did have to call my husband in to help for one step to stabilize the headboard while I screwed things in, but if I were a bit stronger and not pregnant I probably could’ve done it solo.. Emma.
