NuTone® interlocked make-up air dampers provide outside air when required to keep the air in the home fresher by allowing the range hood to operate at optimum levels. Slave dampers (MD6S, MD8S, and MD10S) are interlocked to the main automatic or universal make-up air damper and open in unison for synchronized operation. They close, along with the main damper, as soon as the range hood is powered off. Slave dampers can be ganged together to provide a cost-effective means to provide for higher volumes of make-up air.

This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. Had the exact same one in white and never had an issue with it ever. Updated to the stainless due to all stainless appliances. UPDATE I bought this cord for the range picture above and it absolutely did not work. The cord itself I’m sure is great but not meant for this range. Which I’m not an electrician nor have I installed anything so I’m sure someone with those skills would have noticed prior to ordering this. I did get a refund from Wayfair on this product which was so sweet! I ended up buying a 30-amp rangedryer cord from Lowe’s As for now, I’ll rate this 5 stars because it was extremely fast shipping and it’s undamaged. Im currently waiting for the range that I bought this for (from Wayfair as well) but there’s no shipping information on it even though I bought it at the same as this cord. Honestly This little vacuum is great! I was prepared for a more “temu” version of the real thing, but it’s not! Gentle enough to use on throw carpets on the low setting without eating the carpet. The high setting really worked on my bedroom carpet! The green light helped see even under the bed. So perfect! We ordered this to replace a bulky microwave that was over the range. This was the perfect fit! My grandpa is handy and was able to cut an old extension cord to connect the wires from the hood vent and make it able to plug in for power. Otherwise this would have needed an electrician or someone savvy like him to get the light and fan working. It’s not an easy plug and play for power. This stick vacuum has amazing suction! Additionally, there are numerous various-sized attachments and an extra filter. I vacuumed throughout the house and changed plugs once because of the long extension cord.  The head swivels in every direction, and it works wonderfully on the edge of the stairs. Judy. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner. Great improvement in color & style over previous range hood. Luv the up dated styling. Bottom of cabinet isn't flush so couldn't use easy brackets. Two person install was easy & quick, though. Airflow is strong which explains an expected loud noise level, in high position. Fits great below cabinet. Nice profile. Will be using unducted & want to add charcoal filters for the occasional sautéing & broiler use. The LED lights are bright & make my stove top shine nicely - like showroom quality.
