Wayfair tint review Omg, okay, if I can do this, almost ANYONE can do this! This was window tint stuff was necessary because I live by the beach with south-facing sliding doors that had no blinds when I moved in a few months ago. I ordered it in May 2026. It’s mid-April now and the sun is getting hotter with every passing day. So, I decided today that I need to just bite the bullet and try to do this myself. I hadn’t done it yet because I wasn’t sure what to expect based on the reviews… [Btw, I’m 46 F, single, my dad just passed away (he was great did all the handyman stuff whenever I needed anything) and I do have a brother but he lives 1.5 hours away.] Well, I used a baby shampoo from the Dollar Tree Store to clean the sliders a few days ago. Oh, and I used that brown paper that comes as “filling” in delivery boxes instead of paper towels to clean. Anyway, it only took about 4-5 minutes to cover the first slider door I did! I still can’t believe it! It took about 45 minutes to do the stationary window slider, however. The roll was too wide to fit right up against the window pane so I had to figure out how to cut the roll down to size. I seriously wish i had a little saw because that would have made it soooo much faster easier. Once the roll was narrow enough to put up against the window, it only took about another 5 minutes until it was finished! (I accidentally trimmed off some of the weather stripping, though, so be careful.) And now I’m leaving this review while I’m ordering another roll for my other south facing windows!. Kristen. We got this to set up for spring and summer in the north west. We were told that summers are short but can be very sunny and heat up our home quite a lot. We also love bird watching and wanted a way to keep the birds from seeing us while we watch them. We put it up in less than an hour using soapy water in a spray bottle, a straight edge razor and a squeegee. It’s perfect for what we needed. Time will tell if it keep the house cooler but so far the birds love it and use our window feeders way more now. They can see in at night but during the day inside the house is invisible for them. Makes great birdwatching from the couch possible.. Scarlet. Kirkland, WA. Fri Apr 19 2024

You really cant go wrong with the price! Although its a tad short, this blackout curtain is fantastic. Super easy to install, although I was kind of hoping for a magnetic strip instead of the heavy-duty tape. But hey, it still does the trick!. Rosa. Maple Shade, NJ. Sun Sep 20 2026

This one-way heat control privacy window film provides excellent daytime privacy with advanced technology and highly reflective material. With heat insulation, glare reduction, UV-blocking, keeping your home or office cooler, and saving energy for intense summers. Non-adhesive static cling design makes it easy to install and remove and does not hurt your window glass, so it is ideal for both your DIY projects and rental properties. Reflective technology also gives exterior windows a pleasingly uniform, contemporary look. The outside shows silver inside shows the color you choose. Kindly note that the film cannot provide privacy at night. When the inside light is stronger than the outside at night, the mirror reflective effect will disappear. Installation tips: Before installation, please totally clean the window surface and corners to ensure that there is no dust on them. Remember to remove the protective backing film before applying and spray plenty of water onto the glass surface and static cling side of the window film for adhesion(the more water, the better). After installation, please trim the edges and leave enough gaps between the edge of the film and the window to easily squeeze out the air bubbles.

Works well. Exactly what I needed for my back door window. Easy install.. Ashley. Sun Sep 06 2026
