This lamp looks great in person and has a really modern, interesting shape. It was very easy to assemble, arrived well packaged, and the light works well. I also really like the foot switch. It’s fairly lightweight and you can tell the shade is plastic when you handle it, so it doesn’t feel especially heavy or high-end, but visually it looks much nicer than it feels. It can also be a little wobbly if the pieces aren’t screwed together tightly, but once everything is properly tightened it feels stable. So I really like this lamp first of all. It is the perfect height for my son. Its gold finish gives it a nice classic look to it. I loved that it has a step on and off peddle no need to reach to turn it on. I was trying to make my son a small little readingdrawing nook area to do what he enjoys the most. I was just not expecting that the top was glass and I accidentally broke one of the pieces so instead of 3 glass rings it has 2 in the picture. This lamp is really nice, modern and was perfect for my living area space. However the way it which it was boxed and packed with huge pieces of disintegrating styrofoam was ridiculous!
