These look exactly like the ones my parents had in the 50s and 60s. Every winter my mother would take them down from the high cabinet along with a pitcher (same likeness) and she would make REAL hot cocoa and pour it into the pitcher and then, the mugs. When I saw them, I had to get them. They brought back such wonderful memories. I bought 2 these after purchasing three of the 20 peice sets. I was wondering what the difference was between them and the teacup included in the set. This cup is larger and more of the size we are looking for in an after dinner tea or coffee. The ones in the set remind me of old fashioned China sets where they are more dainty.
