We also took care of account of excess moisture that can cause slips and falls. This bath runner is machine-tipped with a lightly sprayed anti-skid back.

The rug arrives folded and will require some work to get it looking good. As far as color and quality, it looked as pictured and appears to be well made. A good shake reveals lots of lint, so I placed it in my dryer on the “air fluff” setting for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, the rug began to come alive. Clean out your air filter, it will be loaded with lint. Hang it over a door or railing. Fill an empty spray bottle with water and lightly spritz the rug. The weight of the rug and water will remove all the creases. Also brush the fibers with your fingers to fluff up the flattened fibers. Once it dried, I spritzed it did it again and followed up with another 30 minutes in the drier on “air fluff”, now the rug looks amazing. I hung it over the door, overnight. Soft, dries quick, high pile. Only reason it gets 4/5 is because it doesn’t actually look as nice as the photos in the ad. This chenille bath rug is actually pretty nice because it is soft underfoot with the fluffy loops. I am pleased with the rubberized backing that is light and flexible but still grips. Other bath rugs have heavy rubber backings that crack after extended use and laundering.
