The bed took forever to put together, definitely will need at least 2-3 people and ample time to assemble. The drawers suck. They do not slide in and out easily whatsoever. Practically every time I open a drawer, it’s a balancing act. Any sort of metal brackets would have been far better than whatever wood they gave us for the drawer slides. Crazy that the original price was so high when the quality of the product doesn’t even come close to being worth half the price. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. This is a case of you get what you pay for. Pros: It was very reasonably priced, has lots of storage. Cons: only a few parts that you can’t see are made of real wood, the rest is fake laminate made to look like white washed wood. It took 6 1/2 hours to put together with 2 handy people. The directions were not always clear. Some of the parts did not line up, and an area of the laminate was already coming off.
