Pretty good quality and came well packaged. The instructions were clear, however, there are SEVERAL non pre-drilled holes, so if you do not have a drill this will be extremely hard to build - lots of force required to screw in. I put it together by myself, and it did take me several hours, but I was double checking myself through each step. Just built it solo. It took me a pretty long time. More than 4 hours but I wasn’t in a particular rush. It’s not too difficult or too heavy for one person. Just sort of labor intensive. It was VERY heavy upon delivery and bringing it up into my unit was hard. Definitely a team lift package but can be built alone without much issue. I recently purchased the Donati 9-Drawer Dresser and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it. First, be prepared—this is definitely a project if you’re assembling it on your own. I started putting it together around 7 PM, worked until about 2 AM, then picked it back up the next day around 1 PM and finished around 6 PM. It’s time-consuming and can feel a bit challenging at times, but I actually enjoyed the process and found it rewarding to see it come together. There were a few minor issues with some of the wood panels having small chips, but nothing too noticeable once everything was assembled. Overall, the dresser is very sturdy and feels well-made. The finished look is absolutely beautiful and makes the effort worth it. If you’re patient and don’t mind spending the time assembling it, I would definitely recommend it. We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included).
