I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. These are nice lights that we got to accent pictures in our hallway. There are lights on both sides. I will say that I thought that one side was stuck powered in, until I realized the pictures on the top indicated which button to use on the remote control. Lovely sconce - very nice brushed brass/gold finish nice neutral shade. LED lights are easy to charge and place. Only reason for 4 stars is that the “white light” option is too bright white/ cool in color for my liking. If it were a warm white I would be totally in love with these sconces! Remote works well. In my picture you can see how bright the sconces are compared to the nice warm color of the bedside lamp. This is the sconces on the “white” setting at low brightness.
