This is a solid piece of furniture. It’s not some cheap “put it together yourself” desk. The actual desk part arrives as a solid piece, you only need to attach the legs. The top is a heavy board that is edge and finger joint glued together and finished in veneer. The legs are also fingerjointed boards. It generally looks nice, but the finish is quite sloppy. there are some rough spots where it was not thoroughly sanded too. I purchased this table because it was on sale.
