Overall I am satisfied by the fence. It is a little on the flimsy side, but was not expecting it to be bulletproof either. It is a very easy and straightforward installation process. I do wish that the item had tabs for selecting with gate or without gate, as I did not see the other product listing for “with gate” and thought what I had ordered came with a gate as many of the images in the image gallery show gates. So now I unfortunately have a full backyard fence with no gates to enter. I don’t want to give GarveeHome a bad rating as this issue is not their faught.. Matthew. Thu Oct 22 2026

Fast easy set up. It’s working well at keeping my 11 pound pup in the yard. I can step over the 32” height when snow comes because then the door won’t swing. It seems easy enough for the landscapers to pull up one stake by the gate to get their lawnmower through. James. Harrington Park, NJ. Thu Aug 27 2026

This garden fence is marketed as an animal and rodent barrier which of course it is because of the design. It’s why I chose it. But once I unpacked the fencing materials I realized that this would make a great way to keep my tall flowering plants from flopping over especially after a wind storm. So o need to get a second one of this product to keep the bunnies out of the vegetable garden.. Mary. Charles Town, WV. Thu Jul 16 2026

My toolshed has space underneath where my dog can crawl under. These animal barrier fence pieces did the job...he can't dig through them. Also, waited until after it rained to put them in the ground...much easier that way. Also tacked top with a screw to keep them from bending over. By the way, my dog is an 85 lb 15 month old black labrodor retriever...very strong. Billy. Cleveland, TN. Thu Sep 10 2026

Do NOT buy this set. The measurements of the stake rods is incorrect. They are about 43 inches and too short which robs the fence panels of any stability. It allows less than 3 inches into the ground. Very disappointing. Now I have to deal with returning 4 heavy boxes.. Marcy. Chico, CA. Tue Oct 13 2026

Great little fence panel set! I am using it to fence off sections of my lawn that need reseeding. Very easy to set up right out of the box, even for a mechanically challenged middle-aged lady like me. Just line up the holes in the panels, place the metal stake through the holes and use a rubber mallet to get them into the ground. My Labs and German Pinscher have shown some interest in digging under this little fence but have not knocked it over or breached it in any way. It's attractive in the green color. Buying another one so I can rejuvenate the lawn faster!. Genevieve. Hood River, OR. Tue Sep 15 2026

We have moved into a new-to-us home with vinyl fencing surrounding the back yard.  There are some places where the bottom of the fence is higher than the ground. Because we would like to have a dog, those areas need to be secure from digging. We had wondered how to make that happen in the best way, and when I saw these I knew that they would be perfect for that particular project! Once installed, we can bring the dirt up to the level of the fence bottom. Because temperatures have been in the 90-100 degree range and we are older folks, my hubby has not yet been able to start on the installation project. It will happen when things cool down which, in Southern California, may be awhile yet! I can post more pictures to show how we used these barriers once they have been put into place.. Jani. This is Lupita, an escape artist disguised as a spunky mini schnauzer. She had managed to wedge her way out of any tiny gap in our fence. Long story short, we ended up replacing an entire back fence to keep her in our yard....which didn’t work! She managed to wedge through the new fence. Our fence was lined with rocks and stones in an attempt to keep her in but she still dug around them UNTIL...my husband found this!!!! I hammered them in to all of the areas she was wedging through and she has not gotten out of our yard since! Simply amazing! I would definitely recommend it. We had a lot of barriers left over, but will be using them on other yards where she spends time, like my in-laws yard. They are barely visible so the yard looks nice...all rocks and stone are now gone!. Lissett. Benbrook, TX. Thu Nov 19 2020

Great investment in protecting my flock of ducks from nocturnal predators. I installed the XL Animal Barrier around my walk-in duck cage about 1 year ago. So far theres been no successful nocturnal predator intrusions. Very heavy duty and I was able to push the long tines through my hardware cloth ground barrier (apron). Definitely a good investment..
