Beautiful gate! I’m still installing it. It’s missing a screw for the latch, so that’s a trip to the hardware store. The posts in the ground are very short so I will need to pour cement for it to be stable. Good price for a Plow and Hearth product. FYI-Their items usually need protective coats against rust.. We hired someone to put this together for us but it seemed to go pretty quickly. It looks just as pictured and I am pleased with it. I wish I had measured a little better - it is a bit shorter than I pictured so the a/c unit is a few inches above the top of the fence panel. That is my fault though.. Ellis. Highlands, NC. This is a three foot by six foot garden fence. It has a flat black finish. Once you have it together it sits fairly sturdy where you hammer it in. Putting it together was a bit of a problem. Trying to line up the individual posts into the square holes they have to go was a bit annoying as they dont fit snuggly in so they move around a bit. I tried laying it in the floor r flat but it still was a bit tricky. But it makes a decent garden fence.. Anonymous. NY. Wed Jun 17 2026

Hide the eye sores in your yard such as trash bins or air conditioners with this no-dig Charleston Wood Slat Privacy Screen. This slatted screen will hide the ugly items in your yard and make your lawn the envy of your neighborhood. Crafted from 100% FSC-certified cedar lumber and powder-coated aluminum, this screen looks the same from both sides. We recommend applying a stain every 6 months to maintain optimal color. Transparent or semi-transparent exterior stains will maintain the natural wood look, while solid stains will cover more of the natural wood grain. If the product goes longer than recommended without staining, it will need to be sanded and may require a semi-solid or solid stain. Additional boxed sets can be purchased if you would like to create a bigger enclosure. Please note individual panels and parts are not for sale.
