The construction illustrations are a bit difficult to follow at first. Fortunately, I was able to unsnap/disconnect the pieces that I erroneously snapped together. Then figured it out and got the two cubes assembled properly. They seem pretty stable and do hold enough for my purposes -- 4 thick chair pads in one and some gardening tools in the other. I used a rubber mallet to save banging with my hands to snap the pieces together. Suncast has excellent products that last for years, and years. This large deck box was very easy to assemble, is waterproof, and very sturdy. I had one that I purchased over 20 years ago in brown and left it at my previous residence when I moved. It was still in great condition. I expect this new one to last just as long.
