This is a really nice bed! Beautiful design, excellent engineering, very good wood species, and near perfect manufacturing tolerances with everything fitting exactly as it should. This bed is very solid when assembled; no squeaks or wobbles. I took my time with the bed assembly, double-checked carefully with the provided step-by-step pictures, and had a helper to assist with the larger pieces. Assembly took approximately 90 minutes. You want to pay particular attention to the "this side up" arrows on some of the bed pieces to avoid problems. This bed is a very good value, in my opinion, and one that you won't be disappointed purchasing. Delivery to our location was in less than 2 days and arrived in perfect condition. I ordered the queen size in espresso. I was able to build this by myself in under 2 hours. I just put the Golden Girls on the tv and started building! The socket wrench was a blessing. I have a drill but I didn’t need it. The instructions were easy to follow. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and placed the nonskid pads on the legs before assembly. Makes a big difference. I ordered this bed to go with my headboard (also from Wayfair) and it is a perfect color match! However, there are no holes in the bed in order to connect them. No big deal to me, I'll just zip tie them if I have to. So far there have been no issues with sturdiness. The height description is accurate. I wish there had been a 14 inch height option. The top of my mattress sits at about 28 inches from the ground so I feel like I'm a little too high up, but I will get used to it. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. All in all it took me about 4 hours to put together by myself. All the parts were there. With a few extra that had me second guessing if I put it to together correctly. Its pretty simple and the picture instructions do help. The storage drawer is nice to hold blankets and pillows. I bought a 6 memory foam mattress. Once folded up and the doors closed it looks like there is a few extra inches to maybe fit a bigger one Not entirely sure. Definitely a gamble to take if you decide to go bigger. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it.
