It was more than expected (with a couple small issues). The dark green color is bold and looks exactly like the color presented online. The velvet side is soft, smooth to the touch and very comfortable. The other side is soft as well. However, I sleep with the velvet side showing on the bed, because it just looks nicer than the reverse side. Two minor cons is that it is a little on the smaller side. I ordered a king for my king size bed and it fits, but I like my comforters to hang much lower thank this one. This could use more material by a few square inches. I measured it against my old king size comforter and this one is smaller than my previous comforter by about 4 inches. The other con is that it looks fluffier and thicker in the picture than what it actually is - it's thinner than the picture. I love this pair of apple green pillows with pom-pom edge! The order arrived fairly quickly and was well packaged. The inserts were vacuum packed. I followed the instructions to put them in the dryer on high for 10 minutes to re-fluff them and that did exactly what it was supposed to. They are full and fluffy with some firmness. The fabric is smooth and soft to the touch, not shiny. The zipper is well hidden and fairly easy to open. The instructions on the pillow cases were to wash first and tumble dry on low. I did so but lost a pom-pom in the wash cycle and some of the others look a bit compromised. I’m not happy about that because the pom-pom that was lost is actually on the top of the pillow so it is noticeable there are others that look like they are just hanging by a thread so I’m not sure about the longevity of the pom-poms, which is disappointing..
