These stools are beautiful. Assembly was very easy - I was able to assemble all four by myself in about an hour. THESE STOOLS ARE PERFECT! We got them in the prestige ivory color and I was so nervous upon them arriving because the review pictures were so difficult to tell what the prestige ivory color actually looks like. It really is a true ivory with some darker brown and gray tones. I love the way the material isn’t a solid light color as any imperfections they may develop overtime should blend well and not stick out. The seat cushion is very comfortable and I love the way that the sides have a slight arm bumper as part of the design. The wood leg color is a very very very dark brown although in some lighting it does appear almost black. These bar stools are very mid century modern retro.  From the curved wood legs and arm chair lines to the blue chenille fabric shell back seat, all around gives that mid century vibe.  The directions on how to put them together were not in the box, but thankfully it was very easy to figure out.   I purchased these as an open box item and I could be happier about the deal I got and the quality of the stools.  They were brand new and looked like they had never been opened.  They are very stable and comfortable.  I was a bit concerned with how firm the seat was to begin with, but after a week of use the seat is starting to give enough to feel comfortable.  The seat backs were comfortable from the very beginning.  The swivel is very smooth and swivels a fil 360.  Overall I am thrilled with this purchase and very happy I got them at a third of the price. The Providence Upholstered Swivel Counter Stools are absolutely beautiful and were exactly the look I was hoping for. The upholstery, finish, and overall design give them a high-end appearance that works perfectly in my space. I've received several compliments on them already. My only criticisms are that they feel a little light in weight, and the swivel action isn't as smooth as I expected. Neither issue is a dealbreaker, but a heavier base and smoother swivel mechanism would make them feel even more premium. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.
