The NeXtime "Retro" wall clock is a trendy version of an old time best-seller. The combination of transparent glass and the golden stainless steel circle with a black centerpiece of the clock ensures a classic 60's design. The black center matches the simple black lines that designate each hour mark on the dial, with the special designation of two lines (II) for the top of the hour (12) The golden hands have a polished finish and the hour hand has a fish-eye shape which gives the clock a luxurious feeling. This clock by NeXtime is gorgeous. It is elegant with a simple white beveled base. The minute and hour hand are black, and the continuously moving second hand is red. I love that it is quiet (no ticking), and it seems to keep good time so far. It is just under 16 inches round, and it takes a single AA battery to run (not included). I do wish that this clock came with a hanging kit though. It weighs about 5 pounds, and I have to admit that I am a little nervous to hang it in our recently remodeled bathroom for fear that it might fall off the wall and shatter the new floor or countertop.
