This couch is very sturdy yet very comfortable. I think this soft fabric will last a while. It’s a very beautiful color. Silver like. The space under the Chase lounge is soul Roomie. I was able to get the sheets for the king size Bed, and a nice big king size pillow in side the storage space. Plus various throw blankets and pillows as well. I would say so far. After trying out this Sleep Sofa at the Lazy Boy store, I was happy to see it offered by Wayfair. Although Wayfair doesn’t allow you to customize fabric selection, I was fine with the neutral color it came in. This “mini sectional” is adjustable for left or right chaise. It wasn’t as firm as I remembered from the showroom, but, that could be due to the difference in fabrics. Delivery was fantastic- they brought it in, setup and removed the debris promptly. I like it, don’t love it. The slip cover is my favorite - it’s a thick linen and soft and really exceeded expectations there. It was really easy to put together. It’s not super, super comfortable like it’s pretty firm and the base has springs in it so it’s kind of hard and bouncy almost. The pillows are fine - way too big for the pillow covers that come with it but they technically fit. Id consider replacing the inserts. Overall, it’s fine. Very pleased. If I had to change anything it would be higher up off the floor, too low for me, I'm tall. I did raise it up by about 2", bought 4" legs and raised the 2 coasters (On pull out) with blocks of wood painted black. Another change I'd make are the back cushions, I'd make the 3 reversable ,without the black fabric and velcro. Other than those 2 tweaks I like the couch. It did come in 2 boxes, on 2 different days. Packaging was Chinese cardboard (very thin) and there were areas that were torn open exposing the couch fabric which was in a thin bag of plastic. Luckily no damage to the couch! Packaging could be a bit more beefy since it's Fedex Ground and one person...dragging it to door, no handtruck!!! One package 101 lb's and other 87 lb's. I ordered this sofa in Java (Navy blue). Came in earlier than expected but I was able to reschedule delivery very easily. Communication for delivery was great. I'm absolutely in love with this sofa! I was nervous because it didn't have a ton of reviews but I'm glad I took the chance because it looks so much more expensive than it is and is very comfortable and cozy. I wanted an ivory sofa but I was scared because I'm accident prone, so I got the conversational Ivory, which gives my space the overall lightness but a little less obvious if I spill something on it. My sister even slept on the couch the first 2 nights I had it and found it very comfy. Update ---- Last two photos show how the sofa aged after 4 years. I ordered the Edgecomb Sofa with Chaise in Dorset Taupe. The fabric is beautiful and wears well. The sofa cushions are very comfortable. The chaise cushion is where the problem lies. Either the feet end of the chaise cushion is over stuffed, or the top of the ottoman is too high, thereby causing a sinking sensation when you sit on the chaise. Wayfair replaced the sofa once due to the issue. However, they did not correct the problem and the second sofa has the same problem. I then paid someone to cut down the legs of the ottoman, hoping this would solve the problem. I did not. Very disappointed. This is a design flaw that needs to be addressed. I am going to attempt to order a separate sofa cushion to replace the chaise and do away with the ottoman and chaise completely. I will post an update.. Barbara. Philadelphia, PA. Sun Mar 30 2025
