This jute rug is perfect for my office! I love the size, and the jute is surprisingly soft. From what I can tell so far, it’s not shedding much at all and it didn’t have any weird smell or shedding right out of the package, which was a huge plus. I can't believe how quickly this arrived. I ordered at about 8pm on the 17th and it's already here at 10am on the 20th! It was packaged well and arrived undamaged via FedEx. It's an inch shorter than advertised lengthwise but it makes up for it with an extra inch in width. We're putting wood floors in our house so we need rugs to protect them. I went with this one because it's all natural materials with no non-stick backing to leave residue on my floors. Colors were exactly as advertised. The pink is more of a purple pink than an orange/rust pink and overall the rug has more of a cool tone (the white is more of a stark white than cream). This is a really beautiful wool rug that is currently selling for almost three times as much under another brand. It is all that I hoped for. I know it is hard shopping for neutral colored rugs online, so I included a photo with a neutral undertone wheel in natural light for reference. The recessed parts of the rug have a slight green-beige cast, and the raised parts are a very light taupey cream variegated with a pink beige that looks like a light tint of a maroon brown in the darkest parts. I think it coordinates well with natural linen color and unbleached cotton as well as cool sandy tans or mocha and cocoa colored neutrals. It might look dirty next to yellowy creams or light tints of cool blue grays. I included a photo with a natural straw mat and a bamboo box to show how it would look next to light wood with a more yellow cast. Love this rug. It looks little different from the listing picture, but it’s still beautiful. I got a thick rug pad and that made a huge difference. I especially like the detail.
