The steadiness of the unit depends upon its weight-- otherwise, not very sturdy from side-to-side. This was a thinner metal than I expected, but was easy to assemble. Love the look however when loading my pantry items and pushing into place, the back wheel broke off and one lost its bearings. Overall easy to assemble, some of the doors arrived with small dents and some corners were bent- had to use some pliers to bend back to make the pieces fit together.
