Overall, I'm mostly happy with my purchase. It looks great and was extremely well packed. However, based on the pictures, I had expected it to be solid wood. Instead, it's quite light and hollow inside. Also, the pictures give the impression that the tables overlap slightly, but really they're just two separate pieces that you push up against each other. I am very happy with my new coffee table. It has a light and airy look. I gave it a 4 rating because I could not get the screws set using a Phillips head screw driver. They had to go in on the diagonal, but the holes for the screws were horizontal. The instructions said not to use an electric drill. I tried nailing a diagonal hole. That helped, but I finally asked my neighbor for help. He used his electric drill and set the screws. Go figure. I love the table. I selected this particular table because the wood grain was real and not simulated. I was not disappointed! Assembly involved screwing 4 bolts per leg into threaded insert on the underside of the table top. They even provided a hex drive for a cordless screwdriver to expedite assembly. One curious element was how the legs were strapped into the back of the table with staples — which detracted from my perceived vale of the table. I was somewhere between a 4 5. 5 for looks and elevated aesthetic. 3-4 for quality. We had a professional from Wayfair put together and the instructions were not great and caused his to split a piece. Wayfair was great and sent another but the second installer did the same. It is just really fragile wood that splits easily when tightening the lock on the waterfall piece of wood that gives the cascading looks. Also, we had a freak accident where our golden doodle was wagging his tail by the cascading wood and got his tail stuck and it literally pulled about 12” off of his tail down to his vertebrae. I really love this coffee table! It was a little smaller than I was expecting, but that was completely my fault for not paying closer attention to the measurements. Once I had it in the room, though, I actually really liked the size. It feels very sturdy and well made, and the combination of the glass top and uniquely shaped wood legs gives it so much character.
