This carpet I have had for 2 years in my bedroom. It is a mess. It stretched, his carpet pulls, it’s a poor, thin quality, didn’t realize this until I received it, and the color has faded on the carpet on the side I sleep on. This is a terrible, cheap looking carpet, and to me, it was not worth the price. It was supposedly handmade. I guess it would have faired better as a wall hanging. Such a disappointment.. Tj. Beautiful rug but the color is not ivory as advertised but more of a light beige/tan.. Anonymous. Tue Aug 18 2026

This area rug is outstanding. I used a 1/2” rug pad underneath which gave it a soft plush feel!. Cathy. Old Lyme, CT. Mon Jun 01 2026

Nice think area rug, very dense tufting with no pilling whatsoever. Colors and design were exactly what we were expecting. This was well packaged and arrived on schedule. I was a little concerned about reviews on other rugs from this distributor arriving stained and soiled. Not the case here, the rug is pristine!. Jo. Haymarket, VA. Thu Jul 16 2026

My wife and I absolutely love the Brayton Hand Hooked Wool Floral Rug! The quality is exceptional, and the combination of beautiful colors and rich texture gives it a much more expensive look and feel. It has quickly become a centerpiece of our bedroom and really helps bring the entire room together. I especially love how wonderful the wool feels under my bare feet, it is thick, soft, and incredibly comfortable. The price was also phenomenal for a rug of this quality. I’ve seen similar rugs, and honestly, some of lesser quality, selling for hundreds of dollars more. We couldn’t be happier with this purchase. If you’re looking for a beautiful, substantial rug and the colors work with your palette, you really can’t go wrong with this one. Highly recommended!. Hugh. US. Mon Sep 28 2026

Abundant painterly and unapologetically dramatic this hand-woven French Aubusson needlepoint rug fills its deep black ground with an allover garden composition of oversized roses dahlias and broad-leafed botanical forms rendered in coral red dusty pink sage green ivory and periwinkle blue. The blooms are drawn large and with genuine painterly confidence their petals shaded from deep coral at the center outward to soft blush at the edges the foliage rendered in multiple tones of sage and grey-green that give the composition a naturalistic depth across the full surface. No ground is left unoccupied the flowers and leaves pressing against one another across the entire field in a layout that feels closer to a Dutch floral oil painting than to any conventional rug format. The ivory border provides a composed and well-proportioned outer frame its continuous rope-twist motif in dusty rose and cream running the full perimeter with a classical restraint that offsets the exuberance of the dark interior while a clean black outer edge closes the composition with finality. Hand-woven in wool on a cotton foundation this is a needlepoint rug that commits fully to its floral ambition and earns every inch of it.Story Behind the Art: French needlepoint rugs originated in 17th18th century France famously crafted in Aubusson and Savonnerie workshops for royal and aristocratic interiors.
