Overall Im very happy with this purchase. It is decent quality for the price and managed to hold all my jewelry. I did have to shift things a bit to ensure the door closed fully, but once I determined what needed to be where, Ive had no issues. You also need to be thoughtful about where heavy pieces go to avoid making it front heavy. I added books to the back shelf just in case.
This was heavy and awkward to carry. Unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong apartment so I had to schlep it down one set of stairs, to another building, and up another set of stairs…which royally sucked. It was one of the hardest things Ive built solo. Its not that complicated, but it is hard to do on your own because of the height and weight of the main piece. I got it done in about an hour with some planning, but nearly died twice. Try to get help if you can. I think it would be a 20 minute build with two people.
