The couch is fairly well made. I found some loose acrylic fibers coming out of the material as seen on the arm in the picture and some threads that needed to be trimmed but overall it was in good shape. The velvety material is nice and the buttons were pretty uniform and not distorted. It’s very firm and not super comfortable to sit on. The back is low which is fine for me because I’m short. The assembly was pretty straightforward and not complicated. I couldn’t find the Allen wrench until after I had it all put together, luckily I have tools and this wasn’t an issue. There was one small tear in the bottom of the seat board which is pictured but it’s underneath and hidden so not a huge deal. FedEx decided not to deliver the second package until a day later and I watched him throw the package out of his door onto the ground despite it saying fragile. Luckily it was packaged well and there didn’t seem to be any damage to the pieces inside. The boxes were a complete mess with rips and gouges in them so it was obvious they weren’t handled with care.
