This ship light is made of real wood but not sealed with poly acrylic sealer non yellowing so I lightly sanded it and added 2 coats and wow it came to life so beautiful now it will be so easy to clean the only miner problem is it’s not made for the round junction box the hole is bigger than the rectangle plate that goes over the American round junction box so we will add a decorative molding or another larger rectangular plate to the ceiling I love this unique design. We couldn’t figure out the color online but that’s because color changes with the lighting throughout the day. It appears to be hand blown glass so there is no seams but there are slight imperfections in the glass (bubbles). The light bulb is slightly crooked from the screw that pinches the wire in place and it’s impossible to get the cord perfect straight. Beautiful antique brass color and love the nautical style of this hanging lamp. We didn’t hang it because it was too big and overpowered our island which is only 56 x 36.
