They do come with adjusters on the bottom of the legs. Putting them together was simple, but have to admit having a 2nd person help hold in place, while adding screws made the job go faster. Also to make it easier on yourself, follow instructions on putting the pillow covers on when taking the pillows out of the vacuum sealed packets. The pillows do expand to completely fill the covers.. These are very solid chairs. I’ve shown them without the cushion which is thick and comfortable but I’m using them under a dirty oak tree so not using the cushions. 34 chairs arrived damaged but Wayfair quickly stepped in and is shipping replacemet parts.
