I ordered this for that reason as my couch is low profile. it looks fantastic in my space and complements the neutral tones of my decor perfectly. I ordered three tables; one came slightly damaged, one had missing hardware (two bolts and two spring washers), and one was fine. I was disappointed they didn't arrive in better condition. I contacted customer service and they offered to replace the damaged piece and missing hardware, or a discount. This was handled to my satisfaction. The tables are true to the description. The top came in one piece but is made up of individual tiles glued together. From a distance it looks like one piece of marble. The legs are solid wood and are sturdy.
