The beauty of Natural Stone products lends itself to natural variations in tiles. Variations of veining, colors, and shade an inherent characteristics of the stone - -slate. These variations are expected and intended from tile to tile and from lot to lot. Keep shade variation in mind as you are selecting your tile.

Used these beautiful tiles to cover an outdoor pathway. Have received tons of compliments from everyone who passes by. The tile must be set over concrete for the additional support to hold up. We placed three tiles alongside eachother to form a 48" wide row and separated each row going back with red polished small pebbles to pick up the colors in the tiles. I would recommend no more than 2" between each row of pebbles, especially if you need to pull a wheelchair or any wheeling object along the path. Pros: Great and unique look, designer look, looks very expensive, was a great value, Cons: Need to see wear over time, must be careful with handling as they are not too thick. Im so happy with this tile. It looks amazing. I used a charcoal grey grout and laid in a diamond pattern. So sophisticated. The shipping was excellent with plenty of updates, although they did not follow my instructions to place it under my carport. I ordered 230 sq ft and it arrived on a pallet with only maybe one tile chipped. The finished job is smooth and even despite it being a natural stone with plenty of variation. I would caution the installer to be careful with the tile. This field tile no large veins or crystals and it is fine-grained. It is a sturdy example of the rustic, hardy materials that nature produces under the harsh conditions of slate formation.

I used this tile for the floor of my shower and love it! It has a natural slate look so the tile is a little uneven and purposefully not smooth... but it feels great on my feet and actually gives a tiny bit of grip so I don’t feel like I am going to slip in the shower. It has durable materials for both interior and exterior use. We quarry these materials from the mountains and riverbeds of Northern China. In order to maintain the popular “outside-in” look, our tiles and mosaics come in either a natural cleft or tumbled finish. Both materials require very little maintenance and are extremely resilient.
