This arrived quickly and was packaged well. It’s real wood, so it was pretty heavy. It’s best for two people to assemble this but doable for one person. The heaviest part is the set of slats. The headboard, footboard and sides were easy to connect together. The annoying part was laying the slats since they are connected to each other and were heavy to maneuver. Then after laying them all out, the last wood slat wouldn’t lay flat since there’s a wood block that’s in the way. So I had to adjust the slats again but it would leave too much of a gap at one end. So I ended up just leaving the last wood slat as is. Thus, knocked out a star for that. Other than that, the quality looks great and this bed frame is pretty solid and sturdy!. Cristina. It's a beautiful bed but I had to return it since it's a King sized bedframe and I have a Queen. Forgot to double check the size during my hectic move. I should've realized it when the bedframe was huge. The assembly was not super easy for one person, but doable (I'm a 5'3" woman). My floors aren't properly leveled so I had trouble aligning a few of the holes on the headboard. I had to really push and re-adjust, but I got it all done in about 2 hours. The wood legs are a bit weak and do hear creaking. I decided to opt out of screwing every single slat to the bedframe since that would take way too long and I was tired! It did not feel super secure but I also put a queen mattress on it so.. Anyways, its good for the price and you get what you pay for - I really liked the look and probably would've kept it if iit wass the right size! Hard to see much detail in my photo since I’ve covered the bed with plenty of bedding but so far, we really like our choice of frame. Seems stable and secure and was easy to put together. relatively easy to construct. I had a friend helping me which made it nice for holding parts in place. highly recommend a drill for installation, made it take half the time. matched well with the other wayfair nightstands I got. The leds were cheap and did not stay stuck to the wood. if I cared more I would find a way to adhere it, but I just threw them out instead. still 5 stars because I didn’t want the leds anyways. I really love this bed frame. It is sturdy. Strong, and easy to assemble. It even came with a ratcheting tool which made assembly much faster. I have never encountered this device in ready to assemble furniture. Bravo! My only issue is the placement of the leg in the middle of each sideboard. I kept bashing my foot. I know I should be aware,but I kept doing it over and over. Finally, I replaced the leg with a length of lumber which I stained and placed 8 in inside the sideboard. Problem solved!. David M. FL. The headboard, slats and legs feel like legit solid good. If it’s MdF I cannot tell. The rattan was a lot whiter than the stock photo which did not match my dresser but it happened to match my nightstand. The bed is meant for just a mattress with no box spring. I am using a skinny box spring, not standard, and as you can see, it still makes the bed very tall. I am leaving it like that for the near future but plan to get rid of the box spring next year.
